Overview
Luisa Florez is an associate practicing in the Complex Casualty Litigation, Product Liability and Tort Law, and Commercial Litigation groups. She acts as co-counsel in all aspects of litigation, from discovery, depositions and motion practice through trial. Luisa is also a pro bono attorney with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), representing minors in immigration proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Luisa served for six years in the Hudson County Prosecutor’s office handling violent crimes, acting as lead counsel on six jury trials and maintaining an ongoing caseload of up to 120 cases.
During law school, which she attended on a Public Service Urban Affairs Scholarship, Luisa was on the Dean’s List, a member of the Moot Court Team, and the Academic Chair of the Latin American Law Students Association.
