Overview
Shefali Kotta is an associate at Connell Foley LLP and concentrates her practice in the areas of construction, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. Her experience includes Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy, environmental complex litigation and regulatory matters, commercial litigation, and governmental affairs.
In bankruptcy and commercial matters, Shefali handles fact investigation, discovery planning and litigation strategy. She counsels clients in commercial law, business torts, and Title 59 actions and oversees discovery planning, depositions, settlement negotiations, and motion practice.
After law school, Shefali served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jamie D. Happas, P.J.Cv., (Ret.) New Jersey Superior Court, New Brunswick. She received her J.D. in 2018 from Rutgers School of Law, where she was senior editor for Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers in 2013 with a minor in Environmental Policies, Institutions, and Behavior.
