Connell Foley environmental attorneys Christina Sartorio Ku, an associate, and Agnes Antonian, chair of the firm's Environmental Law Group, authored the article "SRRA 2.0 Signed by Gov. Murphy and Passed into Law by the NJ Legislature," which was published by COMMERCE Magazine.
The article takes an in-depth look at the recently amended Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA), the law created a decade ago to govern the remediation of contaminated sites in New Jersey through the creation of the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) program. These most recent revisions to the law are commonly referred to as "SRRA 2.0" and are ultimately intended to streamline the number of sites that can be remediated. The article highlights some of the notable changes that are affected by SRRA 2.0.
