Jennifer M. Carillo-Perez, of counsel in Connell Foley's Real Estate & Land Use Group, will serve as a panelist for the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority (NJRA) Redevelopment Planning Law conference being held October 5-6, 2016. This two-day course will provide a broader understanding of the crucial issues, steps and challenges associated with New Jersey’s Local Redevelopment and Housing Law (LRHL).
Ms. Carillo-Perez will participate in a panel that examines the "Creation & Adoption of a Redevelopment Plan." Other topics to be covered include redevelopment plans and designations, community engagement, redeveloper selection and agreements, and an analysis of recent legal and public policy issues on redevelopment, such as non-condemnation, environment liability and relocation.
The workshop features a faculty with many of the top planners, attorneys, government officials and consultants from the New Jersey redevelopment arena who will share their real world redevelopment experiences. The course has been approved for the following education credits:
