Jason Marx, of counsel in Connell Foley’s Elder Law and Special Needs, and Taxation and Estate Planning Groups, was a speaker for the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 18th Annual Elder & Disability Law Retreat. The program featured some of the most experienced elder law practitioners in New Jersey, and explored the impact of divorce on families in the context of Medicaid. Mr. Marx presented on the Uniform Trust Code; other topics covered included social security, estate planning in the digital age, federal nursing home reform, legislative updates and others. The program was held April 14-15 and was presented in cooperation with the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE).
