ROSELAND, NJ (December 11, 2012) - Mark L. Fleder, Thomas S. Cosma, Meghan Barrett Burke and Danielle M. Novak present on Construction Claims and Law: Preparation, Proof & Defense.
Construction disputes and equitable adjustment claims are inevitable in construction projects of any size or type, public, commercial or industrial, and will vary in nature, size and complexity. When they are not identified, managed and resolved in a timely fashion, they can become very costly - in terms of lost money, personnel, and time.
This new program will discuss the substantive legal issues associated with the different types of construction claims and the practical aspects of their evaluation and pricing with emphasis on proven strategies for management and resolution. You will be taken step by step through the critical "must know" areas of handling construction claims. This will include a thorough coverage of the rights and accompanying obligations of the typical parties to a construction project - owners, architects/engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and more. The program will be team-taught by a panel of experienced construction lawyers who will offer time-tested strategies for resolving all types of construction disputes.
