Connell Foley LLP Partners Named to 2016 Chambers USA Guide

Roseland, New Jersey - May 27, 2016  Connell Foley LLP is pleased to announce that partners Kevin J. Coakley and Agnes Antonian have been selected for inclusion in the 2016 Chambers USA Guide, one of the most respected rankings of lawyers and law firms in the country. 

According to publishers of the annual guide, Chambers and Partners strive to “identify and rank the world’s best lawyers and law firms based on in-depth, objective research.” This involves thousands of interviews with clients and practicing attorneys across the globe.

Mr. Coakley, Co-Chair of Connell Foley’s Real Estate and Land Use Group, was first ranked in Chambers USA in 2009. The 2016 Guide notes that Mr. Coakley “is an experienced attorney with well-honed skills in matters such as permitting, zoning and land use matters as well as environmental issues involving wetlands and tidelands. 

Ms. Antonian is the Chair of Connell Foley’s Environmental Group and earned her inaugural Chambers ranking in the 2016 USA Guide in the “Up and Coming” section of the Environment -- New Jersey listing. 

As a senior member of Connell Foley’s Real Estate and Land Use department, Mr. Coakley focuses his practice on development projects throughout the state of New Jersey. During a career that has spanned more than 35 years, he has developed extensive experience with real estate transactions, zoning, permitting, condemnation, wetlands and tidelands matters. He is also a member of the firm’s Environmental Law practice group and his practice has involved numerous New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) land use permit matters. 

Ms. Antonian draws on her chemical engineering background and environmental engineering experience to successfully address a variety of complex environmental litigation, land use and regulatory matters, as well as other complex business litigation issues. She has significant experience in environmental litigation involving CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, and the New Jersey Spill Act, and has trial experience in both federal and state court. Additionally, Ms. Antonian represents developers and property owners in challenges to adverse rulings by state and federal regulators.
