Connell Foley LLP kicked off Women's History Month by hosting an event featuring the firm’s own Kim Guadagno and Patti Lee, two partners with remarkably impressive backgrounds. Both women shared experiences from their careers and personal journeys, and encouraged women to take risks, act, and “reach out as they rise” by giving back.
The event was orchestrated by the firm’s Women’s Initiative, which is chaired by Connell Foley partner Nicole Dory, who introduced her two colleagues. The Women’s Initiative took the opportunity to collect donations of female personal hygiene products, diapers, and formula—items not covered by food stamps—for Mercy Center, NJ, a non-profit where Kim Guadagno serves as executive director.
The Hon. Kim Guadagno, a partner involved in several of the firm’s practice areas, has also enjoyed stints as the first female sheriff of Monmouth County and New Jersey’s first Lieutenant Governor.
A tenacious litigator who is known for taking on especially complicated lawsuits, Patricia (“Patti”) Lee chairs Connell Foley’s ERISA and Benefit Plan Litigation Group. She has been honored for her extensive pro bono service, which includes her representation of domestic violence survivors.
