Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group, presents with Bridget Quinn Choi, Managing Director of Strategy and Deputy General Counsel at Kivu Consulting, on "Ransomware, Data Breaches & Privacy Issues - Lawsuits & Mediation," a Will Work for Food webinar on January 14, 2021.
With data breaches and computer hacks happening daily, many cybersecurity experts warn that it's not a matter of "if," but "when" a breach will occur. This 60-minute presentation, moderated by Jean M. Lawler and Jeff Kichaven of Will Work for Food, will take you behind the scenes to look into what happens when there is a data breach, what types of lawsuits might be filed and how they are settled.
Will Work for Food was founded by Natalie Armstrong-Motin during the COVID-19 pandemic and provides programs that are presented primarily by and for attorneys, mediators and arbitrators, and anyone involved in risk-management. The programs are free to attend but attendees are asked to donate food to local food banks to help those in need.
