Timothy E. Corriston

Timothy Corriston serves as Managing Partner and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. An accomplished environmental attorney with extensive experience handling CERCLA, RCRA, Spill Act, mass tort, subrogation, product liability, land use and commercial disputes, he appears in state and federal courts nationwide, various ADR forums, and before regulatory agencies.

Representing plaintiffs and defendants, Tim often handles private action claims involving environmental and related property damages. He also defends businesses against personal injury claims of liability for exposure to and damages from environmental agents. Current work includes serving as national counsel to a consumer products manufacturer in product liability matters and as regional counsel to a multinational chemical manufacturer in class action, environmental and product liability suits.

Tim combines a strategic outlook with efficient planning to represent insurance carriers, municipalities, Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and individuals in a broad array of environmental and complex commercial matters. He also advises businesses as outside general counsel, providing guidance on land use and employment matters, contracts, leases, and other day-to-day legal issues that can affect their bottom lines.

Among his many activities, Tim is a member of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association, the Board of Directors of the Fordham Law School Alumni Association, and the Co-Chairman of the Fordham University School of Law William Hughes Mulligan Scholarship Fund.
