Steve Barnett, a partner in Connell Foley’s Environmental Law Group, is a featured lecturer at the second offering of PFAS: Background, Issues, and Treatment Technologies Webinar presented by Rutgers Office of Continuing Education on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.  Steve will discuss "The Regulatory Climate and Associated Requirements."

PFAS, which stands for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, are a group of man-made chemicals found in a wide range of consumer products. There is evidence that exposure to PFAS can lead to adverse human health effects, and PFAS contamination is an important environmental concern. This seminar will explain the development of possible treatments and cleanup technologies from industry experts and scientists.

This program offers credits and continuing education units for NJ Licensed Water and Wastewater Operators, NJ Health Officers and Registered Environmental Health Specialists, and NJ Professional Engineers.
