Cromie and Randall Named
to Leadership Posts at USLAW Network

John D. Cromie and
Karen Painter Randall have all been
named to leadership posts at USLAW NETWORK. Mr. O’Hara serves as a
member of its board of directors; Mr. Cromie has been appointed Vice
Chair of the Transactional Practice Group; Ms. Randall has been
named Chair of USLAW Network’s Professional Liability Practice by
the organization’s board of directors. Mr. Cromie’s and Ms.
Randall’s posts were announced at the organization’s annual
membership meeting, which was held in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Cromie is a member of several Connell Foley
practice groups including Real Estate Law and Land Use and Corporate Law and Transactions. Before joining the firm, he was a Law
Secretary to the Hon. Daniel J. O'Hern, Associate Justice of the
Supreme Court of New Jersey (1987-1988). Mr. Cromie has been an
Adjunct Law Professor of Legal Writing and Research at Seton Hall
University since 1991. He is the author of States May
Selectively Authorize Regional Bank Holding Company Acquisitions,
which appeared at 17 Seton Hall Law Review 106 (1987).
Ms. Randall serves as Chair of the firm’s Directors and Officers Litigation Defense Division. In addition, she
is Co-Chair of the Professional Liability and Tort Law Department.
Ms. Randall also shares her expertise in the day-to-day management
of Connell Foley – as a member of our Strategic Planning; Summer
Associate and Law Clerk Selection; Long Range Planning; Business
Development; Associate Mentoring; and Marketing Committees. In
August, 2005, the New Jersey Law Journal listed Ms. Randall
as a prominent leader among women and minority attorneys in the
State of New Jersey.
