Connell Foley is sponsoring the ABA’s
Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee’s annual Insurance
Coverage meeting and CLE Seminar on March 1-3, 2012, in
Tucson,
Arizona at the Loews Ventana
Canyon Resort.
Neil
V. Mody, an insurance partner in the firm, will co-host a
round table luncheon discussion of catastrophic loss cases
at the meeting on Friday, March 2, 2012.
Members of the firm have long been active in the American
Bar Association in various leadership positions and through
membership activities, particularly in its Litigation

Adrian M. Foley, Jr. served as chair of the
Litigation Section and on the Board of Governors of the
American Bar Association, as well as in numerous other
positions of prominence in the Association.

George J. Kenny is the original
founding chair of the Insurance Coverage Litigation
Committee (ICLC), which has grown significantly since its
start in 1988 and is now one of the largest and most active
committees in the Litigation Section; he has been lauded by
the Committee for his contributions to the organization.
“That the Committee continues to play a significant role in
keeping legal professionals informed and educated about
their profession and the law is a testament to the character
of the leaders who commit their energies to these types of
activities,” stated Kenny.

The ICLC comprises attorneys from major national law firms
who engage in insurance coverage litigation on behalf of
policy holders and insurers.
The ICLC annual meeting and educational program
traditionally draws more than 200 coverage attorneys from
across the country.
Kenny, a Fellow of the
American
College of Trial Lawyers
is a member of several of the firm’s practice groups and
engages in a broad spectrum of civil litigation.
He is a member of the adjunct faculty of Rutgers University
School of Law in Newark and for more than
20 years has taught civil litigation there.
Kenny, who has written and lectured extensively on
litigation practice and insurance coverage law, is a member
of the editorial board of the New Jersey Law Journal,
co-author of the standard insurance text, New Jersey
Insurance Law, co-author of the Damages chapter in Law
and Practice of Insurance Coverage Litigation, published by
West Group and founder of the Lexis/Nexis publication
Coverage.
